I am a Jack of All Trades with experience and training in Illustration, Graphic Design and Games Art. I am interested in remote work, specifically working within Concept Art.
I often work freelance and have branded various companies across the UK including AdeventureX Narrative Game Expo situated in the British Library, London. I enjoy vibrant and fun projects with people who are passionate about what they do.
My latest Games Art opportunity was to take part in the Neighbourhood Game Jam 2020 and create the game 'Chill Tweets to Nest To' with a close knit team. We are exhibiting the game at EGX's and PAX's digital event this year!
You can find me on Instagram, Twitter and Twitch with the handle @Captain_Ogilvy.
Worked alongside the luxury lingerie brand Mal Amora to revitalise her branding. Wanting something more unique, I created refreshed logo designs, packaging designs and other illustrative assets for her use on the website, business cards and wrapping of her gorgeous corset designs.
Worked alongside Ziz (@SeasylphGames) to help produce a small indie game jam game for the Neighborhood Game Jam 2020: https://itch.io/jam/nbhjam
I worked with another Concept Artist to help produce the assets for the game in a quick turnaround. Collaborative effort on all our parts meant we were able to produce a lovely experience for those that want to learn more about Birds and their nesting habits.
Our game is being featured in EGX's and PAX's submissions this year, so more people are able to enjoy our small narrative experience.
Had the opportunity to work with Amy Kavanagh (@BlindButtonMasher on Twitch) to help her produce high quality and fun Twitch emotes.

As part of what is affectionately known as 'The Forge' I exhibited art at the yearly Transformers fan convention TFNation. There I was able to sell merchandise I created and network with other comic/Transformers artists within the community.
I was successful enough to be given permission to return in 2020, before Covid19 had other plans - all set to sell more designs in 2021!
AdventureX are Narrative Games Convention company that run a weekend event every year. I provided them with the art and design of the overall look and feel to the graphics for this year's event. My work was turned into Badges, Bookmarks, Notebooks and Stickers to work as tiers of Kickstarter rewards. These illustrations were then displayed in the British Library in London as part of National Games Week.
As part of this integral role for AdventureX, I was in full communication with the client as I was working remotely - this meant I needed to make sure that regular updates were given to the client so as to keep good, professional relations with them.
This project was a really exciting one to be a part of as I was able to use creative license and have my concepts inspire the client, really driving the look and feel of the convention through it .
Working closely with a local poet I was commissioned to illustrate and edit his book of collated prose. This included correspondence over email, meeting in person and discussing drafts, finals and colour work. Not to mention also including formatting and editing the book to meet the needs of the printers.
This required an organised and clear process of work production, patience and clear communication - as well as time management to meet the deadline as needed.
